Hello, prospective new members! Well, I guess perspective new members since this is who this thread is made for…anyways! Here are some things to read before you make an account!
- Firstly, please check the The World: Character List for characters available for roleplaying! You may only have ONE CHARACTER per person. Think of the account as your character’s account!
- When you find the character you like, first, make an account. Your country will be your username! For example:
Feliciano Vargas/Italy
So, it would be Human Name/Country. If your country does not have a human name, feel free to create your own!
- Once you create your account, please visit the RP Sample Thread and submit your sample (it's okay if you submit this sample as a guest!). NOTE: The sample is just to make sure you will be an active roleplayer, so please don’t let this discourage you! Once a mod sees and approves your sample, your account will be activated!
- Once your account has been activated, you can start roleplaying! Please continue on to the Introduction sub-forum and make your first official thread there! An example on how to format your introduction thread is in the How to Make an Introduction thread. Once you've made your introduction, feel free to post in the In the World thread created for new roleplayers to ease into RPing. Welcome to the forums!
Other Notes: On the forum, out of character is indicated by a line break, with in-character comments above the line, and out-of-character comments below the line. Such as:
Ve! Ludwig, Ludwig! Can we have pasta for lunch?
Duuuude. I really do want pasta for lunch. .-.
You can get this line by typing [hr]after your in-character comment. There’s also a button that allows you to insert this line in the box above posts that allows for forum codes, labeled “Insert a line break.”
Also, don’t forget to give yourself a character avatar! You can add these in the User CP.
Another option available to you is the “Character Ranks,” that have the flags and the character saying under your avatar. To get a character rank, please visit the Character Ranks thread.
